The weather has finally started to break from its semi-regular post-"winter" grey, the sun has poked its way through the sky and asked us to hold off on hauling out the sweaters and scarves. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like anyone has been well enough to enjoy this prelude to spring. As of 5:38 AM Monday morning, this includes myself as well.
A nice end to a weekend, eh? My throat woke me up hours before school after an already brief night's rest. It hasn't gotten much better, swallowing is a bitch. What's worse is because of certain medications, my nose has been kind of dried out, so I've been left to dorkishly breathing through my mouth. Which totally does not help the throat pain, haha. The funny thing is, I don't even feel sick. None of that cloudy cold brain. But there's discomfort just the same.
All in all, today hasn't been the best day for a jumbo size math test. But I did manage to take a nap, and that has really helped.
It's funny how much consistently disrupted sleep can temporarily ruin a person. Worn out as either, frustrated. But it will pass, I guess. I don't like to sound depressing, but sometimes it's the most relatable way to convey exactly how you feel. That shouldn't be a bad thing. Cynicism in moderation.
First blog posts are always awkward, aren't they? I think so. Which
is why I will cancel out the awkwardness of stumbling over an
introduction with.... this!:
Merry Meet Meimi ^^ I was wondering through the member list and saw you. You and I have something in common: Alaska! *high five for being Alaskan*
